The Mayborn Acres Chicken Subscription Program
(Also known as a CSA)

·        Lock in your price and escape the grocery store’s rising costs.

The Mayborn Acres Difference: Real Pastured Poultry

We don’t just use buzzwords. We raise Pastured Poultry—the only type with a specific, legally defined USDA standard. This means our slow-growth birds live their lives actively foraging on fresh, rotated pasture, resulting in superior welfare, health, and, most importantly, unbeatable flavor and texture.

Our 2026 Subscription Offerings
We have built three distinct subscriptions to fit every family’s need. Each option is available in a 6-month or 12-month commitment.

1. The Whole Bird Subscription (Each subscription quantity is 1 whole bird per month)
·        What it is: The whole, perfectly-sized bird. They average 4-4.5 pounds per bird.
·        Your Price Anchor: $20.00 per bird (You lock in a $3 savings over the retail price).
2.   The Breakdown Bird Subscription (Each subscription quantity is 1 broken down whole bird per month)
·        What it is: The whole, perfectly-sized bird, already cut up for you!
·        Your Price Anchor: $22.00 per bird (You lock in a $3 savings over the retail price).
3. The Cut-Up Convenience Subscriptions (Each subscription quantity is for 1 pound per month)
·        Breast Subscription: Premium, boneless breasts locked in at $10.00/lb (Regularly $12/lb).
·        Thigh Subscription: Rich, flavorful thighs locked in at $8.00/lb (Regularly $10/lb)

Commitment Pays: 6 Months vs. 12 Months
All subscribers lock in our discounted pricing. However, your loyalty is rewarded! Choose the 12-Month option for the best possible value and benefits.

12 month subscribers enjoy a free 1 pound package of ground chicken at the beginning of grilling season and 2 quarts of bone broth just as the weather starts to turn cold again. 

Need More Than One Share?
We absolutely encourage it! Many of our customers find that a single monthly share is not enough to cover their family’s needs or their preferred meal frequency. You are welcome to purchase as many shares as you need of any combination of our offerings (e.g., one Whole Bird Subscription for the freezer, plus a two-pound Breast Subscription for convenient meals). When checking out, simply adjust the quantity to the total number of shares you require. All shares you purchase will be packaged together for easy, single-stop pickup at your chosen location.

Simple Pickup Logistics
We are committed to making pickup easy and convenient for you. When you sign up, you will be added to our VIP notification list for confirmed dates.

Primary Pickup Options:
·        Brandon Farmers Market: Confirmed dates will be provided via email and Facebook Events.
·        Sioux Falls Pop-Up: Second Wednesday of every month at a conveniently determined location starting in June.

We will set up additional pickup points as needed to ensure smooth delivery of your guaranteed supply.

We will still have whole birds and cut-ups available outside the subscription, but this pre-sale is the only way to lock in your discounted price and secure your order volume for the entire 2026 season.
